  • Foil Color

    Foil Color

Foils allow us to layer custom effects to suit your cut and your personal style. By applying contrasting color in carefully selected places, we create dimension and tonal variety. Highlights use lighter tones to add life and brightness to your base color; lowlights use darker tones to add depth and richness. The possibilities are endless and individually designed every time.

A partial foil includes the sides, top, and crown of the head.

    Single Process Color + Foil

Many clients prefer the richness and depth that comes from combining all-over color with the special effects of foils. We’ll apply single process color to your hair (or just to the roots, if you’re covering gray or getting a touch up) and then pull strands through a different color in foils to create multi-tonal color and dimension. Not sure whether highlights or lowlights will look best? We’ll guide you toward the best look for your cut, skin tone and style.

    Balayage (Hair Painting)

This French technique “sweeps” color onto the hair to create an effect of carefree, sun-kissed highlights.  Balayage captures the spirit of summer, with emphasis on natural-looking transitions from darker roots to lighter ends. With no roots to touch up, balayage requires less color maintenance as it grows out than foils or ombré.

Full Head High Lift and Tone

A high lift and tone brings the blonde back out of light-colored hair that has darkened or dulled over time. We’ll lighten your hair all over using bleach and then tone it to your desired shade of blonde.

    Gloss & Tone

A toner is a semi-permanent color used to balance and refresh existing tones in your hair all while giving it a brilliant shine. If you like your color but think it’s a little too warm or a little too ashy, a toner might be the solution. Don’t need to tone your color but want that shiny healthy look? Ask about a clear gloss. *Service includes either a blowout style or a haircut.

    Fashion Color

Mira offers superior cut, color and style for women and men. Our expert stylists are committed to lifelong education and training in the newest techniques and trends. Charges are dependent on stylist level, allotted time of service performed and amount of color used.

Creative and exciting, fashion color is as fun for us to create as it is for you to wear! Fashion color starts as a double process color. This means to show the color to its full effect, we’ll need to bleach your hair to a light or very light blonde, sometimes requiring more than one lightening session, before applying the fashion color. If you like this look, be aware this is a high-maintenance hair color that needs refreshing every 3-4 weeks.

  • Color Correction

Color corrections can take many different forms, including going from very dark to light or vice versa, removing unwanted tones, adjusting color from another stylist or salon, helping when box color goes wrong, and so on. Your stylist will work with you to create a custom plan, outline the timeframe to achieve desired results, and discuss the approximate cost of your service.
